Tommys Top Gun is an extremely
talented, well bred APHA stallion by Tommys Doc Bar
and out of a Peppy San mare. He was shown by Teddy
Robinson as a three year old and won the Paint Triple
Crown Snaffle Bit Futurity by 11 1/2 points.
He was also a Top Ten Finalist in the Snaffle Bit
Stakes and carries Open Reining points. A hock injury
ended his show and riding career.
Gunner’s sire Tommys Doc Bar was an
all around athlete. He was the greatest Paint horse
son of the legendary Doc Tom Tucker, inductee into
The Cow Horse Hall Of Fame. Tommys Doc Bar was a Reserve
World Champion in Halter, Working Cow Horse and a
World Champion Paint Performance Horse. He also had
his ROM in cutting, Reining, Working Cow horse, Heading,
Heeling, Pole Bending, Steer Stopping, and Trail.
He was a point earner in Halter, Barrel Racing and
Tie Down Roping.
Gunner has an awesome working cow horse pedigree
and an outstanding personality! His foals are very
personable, easy going, with beautiful necks and great
hips.
Some offspring have gone on to barrel racing,
pole bending, heeling and tie down roping. Others
have show careers in Western Pleasure, Halter and
Trail. Siblings have performed duties in all aspects
of ranch work, including gathering, sorting, branding
& feedlot duties.
Money has been won in team penning/sorting.
They have also been working in the rodeo arena.
